Full course description
Our Child Abuse and Identification Reporting Workshop uses New York State's updated training curriculum; we have been approved by New York State as a provider of the updated workshop which is required for all NYSED certificate holders and seekers prior to April 1, 2025. Participants will receive a certificate indicating that they completed the updated training, and our certification team will share workshop completion data directly with New York State. Please note that as of September 1, 2025, our workshop meets both the September 1, 2024 and September 1, 2025 updates.

Format: Online format (Zoom)
Upon completion of the workshop, the Center will provide the applicant with a Certification of Completion. TC students may also address the Child Abuse requirement by taking HBSS 4116.
Registration will close 48-72 hours before the workshop date or when the workshop is closed/full.
This workshop is limited to 40 participants.
Participants are asked to arrive a half-hour before the workshop begins.
Latecomers will not be admitted.
