Full course description
The Professional Tutoring Program (PTP) at Teachers College, Columbia University is dedicated to elevating private tutoring into a recognized, rigorous profession. Created by Dr. Daniel Lerman and TC Academy, PTP fuses cognitive science, pedagogy, and applied practice into a transformative experience for professional tutors.
Over 6 sessions, participants will engage in live online lectures, real-world tutoring session analysis, asynchronous coursework, and personalized mentorship. The program culminates in a capstone project, preparing graduates to lead in the future of education.

Format: Hybrid (Live Online + Asynchronous)
