Full course description

Bridging Well-being and (Teacher) Education: A Globalized Perspective to Science Diplomacy

At a time when education systems worldwide are facing profound challenges—from widening inequalities and the climate crisis to political and social fragmentation—this conference provides a groundbreaking platform for global dialogue and collective action.

Bridging Well-being and (Teacher) Education: A Globalized Perspective to Science Diplomacy marks the launch of a new international collaboration between the European University for Well-Being (EUniWell) and Teachers College, Columbia University (TC). Over five days, participants will take part in a dynamic program hosted at the United Nations Headquarters and Teachers College in New York City.

Through keynote addresses, interactive workshops, collaborative dialogues, and creative contributions, the conference will explore how education can serve as a driver of system-wide well-being. More than just an academic gathering, this event is a call to action—a space where research meets policy and practice, and where educators, scholars, and change-makers work together to design solutions that advance equity, sustainability, and human flourishing.
